26 year old Soraya (Emma Soraya Beard) has been making waves in the music industry for many years. She first hit the headlines after getting down to the final 10 girls in the hugely popular National ITV Show Popstars:The Rivals. The show went on to form hugely successful girlband Girls Aloud and 4 of the runner-up girls, Aimee, Soraya, Lynsey Brown and Chloe Staines formed girlband CLEA.

CLEA had worldwide hit singles “Download It”, "Stuck In The Middle”, “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” and “Lucky Like That”, all taken from their debut album release “Trinity”. The band reduced to a threepiece in 2005 (Chloe Staines emigrated to Canada) travelled and toured the world achieving success across Asia and Europe. With the decision by Lynsey Brown to leave the group at the end of 2006, Aimee and Emma set about making plans for a new sound, look and band to continue their quest for success forming dance act LoveShy.

Loveshy got shortlisted by the BBC as one of the 6 acts competing to be the UK’s entry on the BBC1 show Eurovision:Your Decision with their single “Mr Gorgeous”. Signing a deal with hot UK dance label AATW/Universal Loveshy scored a massive dance hit in many countries with “AM to PM” produced by the Wideboys (Rihanna, Shaznah Lewis) and remixed by hot UK mixers KKlass, Thomas Gold and in a bassline mix by Mr V. “AM to PM” reached the No.1 spot on the M8 Club Charts, DJ Magazine Club Charts, DMC Club Charts, Music Week Pop Club Charts and No.2 on the Music Week Club Charts and played across all dance shows.

America came calling with hot USA dance label Next Plateau Ent signing single “Got A Love For You” a cool house remake of the underground Jomanda classic and the follow-up “The Boy Is Mine” (Brandy And Monica cover). Again produced by the ubiquitous Wideboys.

In addition to her music career, Soraya has also branched into acting, songwriting, reality TV, and the Movies!!. She has co-written the debut single by ex-Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones ‘Hollwood Doll”. Has been cast in the lead in a big budget UK horror movie and appeared in the final of Paris Hilton’s first UK BBF TV series.
